After a run as an assistant at Navy, he's taken over the Husky Elite Wrestling Club and the RTC at Bloomsburg. He joins head coach John Stutzman, who is rebuilding the program he took to 11th in the country in 2013. They get into what the regional training center role actually is now that the NCAA pushed first contact to April of a recruit's junior year, and why an RTC coach who can sit in a high school room and sit next to the parents is worth more than another assistant. Stutzman explains the fundraising and community work behind a Division I program in a blue-collar town, and Davis talks about what he looks for in a kid before the program spends two years chasing him.
